Questions

Do agents count as seats?

No. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT or any other agent never counts as a person. Free includes 2 agent connections; Pro and Team have no limit.

What happens when I hit a limit on Free?

Nothing you have is touched. Klio only stops you creating a 4th active project or a 3rd agent connection, and says why. Archive a project to free its slot, or upgrade.

What's Klio AI planning, and does my agent's planning count?

Klio AI drafts stories from a sentence on Klio's own model. Each plan includes a monthly allowance. Planning done by your coding agent (or with your own API key) costs Klio nothing and is never counted.

Can I cancel?

Any time, from Settings → Plan & billing → Manage billing. You keep the plan until the period you paid for ends, then move to Free. Nothing is deleted.

Who handles payment and tax?

Polar, our merchant of record, runs checkout, invoices, sales tax and VAT. Klio never sees your card.

Is there a discount for yearly?

Yes: yearly is about 25% off. Pro is $144 a year instead of $192.
