Every client project, exactly where you left it.
Switching between three clients in a day is where context goes to die. Each Klio project keeps its own plan, progress and stack, so your agent picks up any client's work with one word.
Claude Code:
How Klio helps
Freelancers juggling client projects with coding agents keep each on its own Klio board: scope as stories with criteria, progress, deploys and a resume note.
Scope you can show
Agreed work becomes stories with acceptance criteria. Done means the criteria passed and you approved it.
Switch clients in seconds
Every project opens on a short note of where it stands and what's next.
Scoped access per client
Give an agent a token for one client's project only, or a read-only connection for review.
Deploys and env vars on record
Which environment has which variables (names, never values), and what went out when.
Questions
Can I keep client projects separate?
Yes. Each client can be its own project, and tokens or OAuth connections can be limited to specific projects so an agent only sees one client's work.
Can my client see the board?
On Team you can invite people to a workspace. Everyone in a workspace sees every project, so use a separate workspace per client if they shouldn't see each other.
Does Klio store my clients' secrets?
No. Klio stores env var names and where they're set, never their values.
Which coding agents work with Klio?
Any agent that speaks MCP. There are setup guides for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code with Copilot, Zed, Kiro, Cline, Gemini CLI and opencode in the docs.
